$129
A $399 value, for academy recruits only
One visit with a doctor of physical therapy. A clear plan for staying healthy and passing, not just a list of problems.
Reserve My Assessment
Most recruits who struggle in the academy don’t fail the test. They get hurt before it. A knee that was operated on years ago, an ankle that never quite healed, or a back that flares up when the running starts can turn into a missed week, a medical hold, or a restart with a later class.
This assessment finds those weak spots while they are still small, and gives you a plan to fix them while you keep training.
It is a fit if you are 28 or older, have had surgery on a knee, ankle, hip, back or shoulder, have an old injury that still flares up, or feel pain on stairs or when you run. If you are young, feel great and have never been hurt, you probably do not need it yet, and we will tell you that.
- Your risk profile: the specific areas most likely to cause trouble for you.
- A clear plan: what to do now, what to watch, and what to do if pain shows up.
- Your options if something needs fixing: hands-on physical therapy and, for stubborn or old injuries, regenerative care (ReGEN).
We are the only clinic in San Diego with all three regenerative tools: focused shockwave, radial shockwave and EMTT. That matters if you have an injury that never fully healed.
Fill in the form and our team will contact you to schedule at the location that is closest to you. You can also call or text (619) 397-1391.
“I had lingering hip pain at the start of the Academy. After my first visit, they conducted a thorough assessment, identified the issue, and created a robust treatment plan to keep me healthy in the Academy.”
Andrew, 27, cadet
“They helped me get through an old injury and have kept my body moving strongly in the Academy. I always leave feeling like I have a brand new body with zero pain. The entire team is professional, personable, and very skilled.”
Melissa, 30, cadet
“I am not as young anymore, but if you want to get through the Academy successfully, treating yourself like an athlete is a must! The team at SP makes you feel like one. If you’re feeling stiff or beat up, they will keep your body ready for anything the Academy throws at it!”
